Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and a dynamic practice environment with a strong support team. The physician will provide high-quality outpatient care, collaborate closely with advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs), and contribute to clinical workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse adult and adolescent patient population.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions with a focus on preventive care.
- Supervise, support, and collaborate with nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
- Offer clinical guidance and oversight for mid-level providers, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists, behavioral health providers, and in-house diagnostics.
- Document encounters efficiently using our EHR system and participate in clinical workflow optimization.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and practice development.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in PA or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience supervising or collaborating with mid-level providers (NPs/PAs) preferred.
